In a week I'll be going to Maui and I was wondering if I would need
a Shortie wetsuit or not? Its on the end of a business trip and I don't want
to haul around a smelly suit, if I may not need it . Can't remember if
I used one 6 years ago.

Folsom Report 3/9/95 6:30 am to 9:00 am

Hit the water (white) at 7:00 with a WW 4.4 MP, Lasted about
10 minutes, switched down to 3.9 and still had to stand out some of the
40 knot plus fronts coming through. It lightened up about 8:30 to allow
30 minutes of controlled sailing. At 9:00 a squall came through and it died,
had a 9:00 meeting at work, so called it a day.

Thanks Dr. Wind, I needed that. Next stop Maui,

Steve
