Crissy on Saturday afternoon was not too good. Heard that Rio was great on
Saturday. Did anybody go?
Rio Sunday morning: Shut down at about 10:30, but very early (b/f 8am) was
very good.
On Saturday, I broke a '93 Chinook Boom just in back of my rear harness line.
I was hardly powered up when it happened by the North Tower. I did not panic,
flipped my boom over, and sailed safely to the Coast Guard station.
Has anybody else broke a Chinook boom?
I broke a Fiberspar boom last year. I suspect that booms always break on the
starboard side just to be difficult. Does anybody agree? :-)
