Friday 8/19/94 Crissy Field
5.0 conditions with a good ebb. SW direction. Wind was strong until 6:00 when
is slowly started to shut down from the beach out creeped out towards the
bridge. I got stuck in the flood on the way back and ended up swimming PAST the
St Francis Yacht Club :(.
Saturday 8/20/94 Crissy Field
Same conditions as Saturday. Stayed stronger on the beach later into the day.
South Tower was strong with nice big rollers for the brave. Caution: I spent
less than 2 minutes doing adjustments in the water at the Tower and was almost
50yds outside the bridge where the wind is lighter. Phew.
Sunday 8/21/94 Waddell Creek
4.5 - 5.0 westerlies with 5-8 foot swell. Pretty crowded at 3:00. Wind stayed
strong until 6:30. Made my first botom turn followed by an 'off-the-lip' :)
Don't count he coast out.
