It could just as easily backfire, but what about the idea of taking a video
tape or some still pictures showing just how crowded the parking situation
is there. Then show these at a Foster City Council meeting. In the name of
both safety and convenience for everyone involved, we could ask for
permission to bring the fence down. We could also specifically ask that
the police *not* ticket anyone there until such time as the city takes
action on additional parking.

By the way, to the left side of the parking area while heading in, there is
a really large flatland of dry tundra and marsh grass. Couldn't some large
section of this be easily turned into a dirt parking area?
