A U.S. Coast Guard spokesman says a man who passed out aboard a boat in
the Oakland estuary this afternoon was taken by coast guard boat to the
Oakland Fire Department's boat dock and a waiting ambulance.
The spokesman says the man had been aboard a sailboat and taken a swim.
When he climbed back onboard, he passed out and friends did CPR on him and
called the Coast Guard.

The spokesman also says a windsurfer that broke down on San Francisco
Bay about 2 miles south of San Francisco International Airport this
afternoon was plucked from the water by a Good Samaritian in boat and taken
back to Oyster Point marina.
