Oct. 13 (BCN) \227 The United States Coast Guard today rescued a windsurfer
who was stranded for two days at the base of a cliff near Davenport, the
Coast Guard Air Station San Francisco reports.

The 55-year-old man was rescued at 8 a.m. this morning about 10 miles north
of Santa Cruz. The Coast Guard began searching for the man at 6:30 p.m.
Sunday after his friends reported him missing on Saturday, according to the
Coast Guard.
