I have sent out this notice before, but thee-mail address for the
Community Development Director was previously incorrect. Please
send reports to: rmarks@fostercity.org-DeleteThis.com - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
- - Very Important: Please report all recent and previous golf ball
incidents at Third Avenue parking and launch area to the City. This
includes any incident since the golf course opened.

The City of Foster City is gathering information that will help
determine to what degree flying golf balls are creating a hazardous
situation at the Third Avenue parking and launching area. To the
extent there is a hazardous condition, the City has the right to
require safety improvements.

The City has asked the golf course to raise the safety nets. There
may be disagreement between the City and the golf course owner as to
who will pay to raise the nets and as to whether a hazardous
condition exists. It is important to submit comprehensive and
detailed information to the City as follows:

- Description of Incident - Time and Date (best approximation if
specific date not known) - To whom was incident reported - If
incident was reported to golf course, what was the response or
action taken by the golf course
