Subject: Cabarete?

Starting to investigate Cabarete, DR as possible extended family
vacation spot for April, 2004. Mostly non-windsurfers, with strong
interest in friendly beaches (with some wind protection), snorkeling,
mtn biking, food, and warm waters.

Particularly interested in accommodation options in addition to
standard hotels/condos offered by Vela. Ideal might be some sort of
large house/complex with at least 5 separate bedroom/sleeping areas,
etc. However, should be within reasonable walk of Vela.

Advice, comments, personal experiences most appreciated. Also
regarding travel to/from California.
