Funny you should ask because I have my windsurfing van for sale. It's a
1984 Ford Club Wagon. Captain's seats in front with a fold down third seat
that is great for dawn runs at San Luis. I didn't build in any custom
racks, but I comfortably carried 4 boards, 4 booms, 3 masts, 10 sails and
wetsuits, etc. inside with room to sit inside and change. Works great when
the weather is cold and other people are squirming around under a towel
wrapped around their waist. It sounds old, but the condition is very good.
Most people don't believe it when I tell them it's a 1984. I'm asking
$1900, which sounds like it's much less than your budget. I live in San
Mateo. Let me know if you're interested in taking a look.
