If there are any waves on Catalina they would have to be on the far side.
The only town (Avalon) is on the near side, so it seems very unlikely that
there are any surfboards for rent there.

There is great snorkeling though.

I'm taking a trip w/friends to Catalina island. Does anyone know if there
is good surfing there and places to rent a board?
