I would say a sail shop is the best way to go. I got the same repair done
last year by a shop on the old Alameda Army base for $20 or $25. I can't
remember the name right now, but they are not hard to find if you drive
around the base. I've also heard of a "North?" shop with good reputation in
Marin, maybe someone else on the list can offer additional info on that.
Can't wait for the longer-warmer days ahead!

I need to replace the head strap of a sail before sailing this year.
It's frayed and looks like it will break "real soon." Any ideas on
sail repair shops or methods of doing it myself?
Thanks.
