A worker there told me that they are reinforcing and improving the shoreline.
They will also add a doggie ramp well downwind where people can get down to
the water to throw balls and have their dogs swim. The planning on this
project apparantly took windsurfing into account as the worker understood
that the windsurf launch areas are to remain accesible. I'm not sure how this
fits in with the Eastshore Park. In the long run it might be nice to have our
launch area improved. If they use uniform sized boulders the facing could be
easier to climb over when trying to climb out downwind.
