Just a heads up to others sailors: someone
tried to pick the passenger door lock on my
car on Monday afternoon (They tore off part of
the key assembly and left what appears to be part
of a key they tried to force it open with).
Luckily they were unsuccessful in getting in.

I was parked along the side of the golf course
driving range and next to a van (in retrospect
that was asking for trouble, since it created
quite a private space for lock picking).

My friendly advice to other sailors:

* Make your car look empty (I clearly violated this one)
* Keep in mind that a slim-jim looks like a rigging tool.
* People noodling with car locks may not be owners
  of the vehicle.
* Wear your car key around your neck while sailing.
