Dude,
You have to try doing some paddling on the south shore and get it right.
Maui is great in the summer, usually, for surfing on most south and west
facing beaches. Although this summer was slow getting going Its rockin right
now with overhead surf in Maalaea thru Lahaina. I'm taking a short surf trip
over there this weekend to catch some waves.
