saturday at waddell... universal break...
i was beginning to think that my hyfly 265 fx was indestructible. as it
turns out the polypropylene shell is rather vulnerable to the presures of a
jointless mast base under heavy chop after a self rescue operation. (btw,
thanks to the sailor who offered me help while practicing self rescue in
landlord's territory)

so, now that the wind is back (...!!!) i need to repair two small cuts that
decorate my poly deck. a friend tells me that one of those heat glue guns
may do the job.

anyone has had good results on good old poly with this gear? how about the
local shops? will asd work on poly or do they just do epoxy and other hi
tech materials? any idea what the bill would be for two small (1 & 1/2 inch)
small cuts near mast rail?

thanks a lot and happy 4th
