I too am very concerned about golf balls at Third.

It was only a year ago that Pierre was hit on the head by a ball.
Does anyone know what the status of his legal efforts is?

        Yesterday I was hit on the side of the head by a golf ball at
        3rd while puttting my wetsuit. The impact knocked me off - it
        felt as if someone had clubbed me from behind. An hour later I
        had a bruise the side of an egg over my ear, at at the urging
        of my wife and local police I ended up at the Sequoia Hospital
        emergency. Fortunately there seems to be no skull fracture,
        although I still have a headache and should watch for symptoms
        over the next days. The nurse who examined me initially told me
        a kid could easily have been killed by such an impact.

        This situation has now gone for long enough, with nothing being
        done despite repeated incidents. - I WILL take legal action
        before anyone gets killed. Could anyone on this list refer me
        to a good attorney? In the meantime, I urge people who bring
        their kids to 3rd Av. to have them wear bike helmets at all
        time.
