Please don't start "tweaking" windtalkers. As has been discussed here many
times (wrt COTW), over time each sailor will develop their own personal
"tweaks" to the windtalker data to approximate the on-water conditions.
Creating software adjustments to the actual readings is problematic, since
sooner or later someone changes the adjustments.

The SFBA's Candlestick WindTalker is finally back online (415-467-7287); the
wind numbers are quite low compared to what's actually on the water; I'll
monitor (and maybe tweak? poor sensor location but free, courtesy of
California Parks & Rec).
