  1. I also like the new format. the more info the better.

  2. when does Coyote get a wind cam?

Yesterday's forcast for Coyote was MORE wind than Monday. I sailed
some Tuesday on an 8.8 sail and 140L board (230#) and managed to
plan for 30 minutes (4:30-5PM) and had about a 30 min hula dance in
when it died. I looked like it came back up again after I left at
6:30. Even with the big board and sail, I need the yellow wind
minimum to be above 10 it seems.

Bottom line: MUCH LESS wind!

I wish we could have "sailing reports" for the sites so we could
easily click and then view reports from the day before and compare
it to the current wind...

I still have this page
http://www.suite101.com/mydiscussions.cfm/Windsurfing that loads
fast Perhaps use it to post reports for the sites? Often we get a
strange, West wind at Coyote that makes it hard to determine what
the actual sailing conditions were like. If the wind is a repeat of
the day before (Westerly) AND I read reports that people were having
fun sailing it in those conditions the day before, then I feel
better about blowing the TIME AND 4 or 5 gallons of gasoline at $2
or $3 a gallon to give it a try...

believe that if you look at actual report time you will notice that
