It had been so long since I'd even rigged my own gear, I decided to head down to His Lords around 11:15 in hopes that some clearing winds, or some other meteorological phenomenon that purports to bring wind, would kick in.
Got there at a lull, no other suckers visible on shore or on the water. Decided to rig just to ensure I had all my stuff back in one place and remembered how, but big stuff just in case (8.7 and 145L).
Then wind came up, I went out, and other than freezing my hands and feet nearly solid, I'd rate it an A- day (from about 12:15-1:30), until I had to come in to make it to grandson's ninth birthday party. There even were a few other hardy souls.
However, ten wired nine year olds was a bit over the top........
