Maui is beautiful in February, but sailing can be iffy. Kanaha is a good bet
or Kihei. The swells get BIG at that time of year on the North Shore but you
can stay inside or play with the waves at lowers @ Kanaha.

My wife doesn't sail much but loves the water and beaches. We have an
oceanfront condo in Maalaea Bay whith a beautiful setting that we rent. It
is centrally located on the island and only 15 minutes from Kanaha, 10 min
from Kihei, and 20 min from Lahaina. The best part is its 1 minute from the
ocean with a surfing and snorkeling beach in front. There is a 7 mile
uninterupted beach along a turtle preserve a short walk away and several good
restaurants within walking distance. If interested reply to my e-mail.
Cost is $75 - 125 per nite depending on season. Its a 1 bedroom, 1 bath, w/
a new comfortable foldout.
