- I got a Neil Pryde Mast bag 2 seasons ago that's really nice. It
will hold 4 (2 piece) masts. The weight limit for an individual piece
of airline luggage is 70lbs with most airlines. I think the best
stragety to avoid baggage penalties is to try and keep the number of
bags as small as possible. However, the weight limit is strict one.
They might not take it, and if they do the penalty will be stiff.
