I sailed Australia last winter and had an awesome time!!! Western Australia
is definitely the place to go for windsurfing downunder. Margaret River is
great, but so are a lot of other places on their West Coast - it all depends
on what you want in terms of wave size, water temp, wind reliability, etc.

The east coast of Australia is very hit and miss - all frontal winds - kind
of like the US east coast.

I can give you the blow by blow account of where to go, when to go, where to
rent, what conditions to expect, etc. etc. - feel free to email me directly

Also - here's a good website that gives some good Western Australia
windsurfing info:

Boy - I wish I could go back this winter!!!!!

Does anyone have any suggestions about how to book a trip to Australia and
where to go? I'm thinking of the Margarita River ??? on the West coast ???
I saw a picture in a magazine a bit ago with Cindy-sized waves and it looked
like pure fun.
