- I would think about getting something shorter than 46 or 44 if you
are going to use sails that small( for a techno). I occasionally sail
my Techno 283 with a 5.7m and 6.3m sails, for this I use a Curtis Cr7
38cm. I think the CR7 works pretty well as a general purpose blasting
around fin for the Techno. 38cm is a bit short for an advanced
beginner, you might have problems with getting upwind. I wouldn't get
it any longer than 42 unless you are going to use different sails.

- The Techno is much more loose and fun with the smaller fin. I would
stay away from the CR-15 46cm unless you get a much larger sail ( like
a 8.0 or so... ).
