I would say that the latest time to leave is 1:30pm to 2 pm, any time after
that, you are sitting in your car watching all the flags flapping and trees
swaying, cursing the traffic.......Best to leave at noon.
Can't you get one of those lunch ailments? you know the type that are only
helped by frequent and repeated submersion in fresh, warm sacramento river
water off Sherman Island. My doctor told me that if I'm holding a boom of
a nice new sail, my ailment has a much higher chance of improving. I'm
still not very well, so I continue the treatment the best I can.
