The pilot himself made extensive announcements to that effect while we sat
in jail on the tarmac. United continues with a labor dispute involving
pilots who are upset at being asked to work lots of OT; there was a massive
work slowdown just last week by pilots collectively refusing to work OT.
SFO blithely said "weather delays!"; UAL didn't peep that I heard, dunno
why?
