Unfortunately another whale washed ashore between the
San Mateo Bridge and the old 3rd ave launch. He's
there now.

I tried to sail coyote last night when it came up
late. With white caps there was great promise, but
once out the wind sputtered, and even on my 5.8 I swam
in. As I struggled to shore a 30' humpback whale
drifted near me. It was sad because last year near the
end of SFO I spotted a similar whale. Any bay
expansion pollution will cause us to lose more >8ton
wondrous mammals.
