To all you JP fans out there.
I recently bought (couldn't pass up the killer deal) a closeout new '99 JP
wave 265. I tried it in the bay and liked it as a good board for me (#190)
to slash around on but still be able to shlog in. Then I tried it at
Davenport with some 5.4 wind and head high+ waves. I found that the straps
which only seem to have single hole attachments moved around like noodles and
the board felt like a suped up 80's thunderbird on a sportscar track. It had
some liveliness to it, but not very snappy.

I think its the nature of this board to carve a litlle broader bootom turn.
I am going to try moving the back strap and the fin forward. Any suggestions
on remedying the footstrap creep? The screw holes all seem to be in a
straight line.

TD
