I am planning to take a friend out to the bay this weekend and rent some
beginner gear and do. No, I am not about to ruin another soon to be
windsurfer by testing my shortcomings as an instructor on him. He has
already touched the basics and I'll just assist him while he "explores the
possibilities".

I would like to hear the list's opinions on the different rental locations
around regarding beginner gear, and conditions. I believe there is gear at
ADS in Coyote, how about Candlestick? I never sailed there myself but seems
extremely beginner friendly.

PS. If my wife join us I would look into some lessons....really don't
want to ruin her.
