actually i was thinking of moving over there (Boulder)
could you tell me how often a chinook arise?
in other words, did you sail few times a year or during a "windy" season?

Yes you can sail on Boulder reservior, although if I remember, they charge
pretty steep access charges. The windsurfing there is very hit and miss...
if you happen to catch it during a chinook, then it'll be nuking. If you're
in the Denver Area, probably the most consistent sailing is at Aurora
reservior, east of Denver. The sailing there is a far cry from what we have
here, if I was only going to be there for a week, I wouldn't bother bringing
equipment because of the low probability for good wind.
