I have to jump in on this one.......This is a fun debate....kind of like:
who has better powder
Utah or British Columbia? Or who has better wave sailing, Uppers or
Hookipa?

Bay Vs. Seattle.......Both have cool stuff to offer.....

If you want:
Tons of selection
Varied conditions - slalom, B&J, Waves........
Lot's of wind - all year round really, consistent April-Oct
Amazing views - under the gg bridge, Mt. Tamalpais, Tuba.....it's endless
Great job market - uh, silicone valley....we are changing the world, not
just growing moss...
Wave Sailing - From Tuba down to Dport
Worlds best restaurants - sf
Hapenin' music scene
Surfing.......you are in the bay

If you want
Rural
River
A town that loves windsurfing (after driving 4 hours)
rain
fog
mist, moss, rust
good coffee
Microsoft, Amazon.com
Crystal mountain skiing
Mt. Rainer - do you ever see this guy? right, 10 days a year......
Mt. Baker.....you are in the Seattle area.

The each area is unique. The Bay area has a lot to offer. Yup, it's
expensive to live here. Lets keep it that way, otherwise, our traffic will
be like Seattle's ;-)

"Anyway the wind blows doesn't really matter to me"
