Saw a good 2:00 report for 18 knots and went up to Coyote (low
water at 3rd). Kirk had just rigged his 7.5 and went out, slogging,
a long way before he got to the wind. I went shopping for new booties.
He later reported good conditions outside, but you needed the big stuff.

Got to 3rd about 2:00 and it was *packed* - cars parked out to the
golf course's dirt piles. (5 empty handicap spaces taking 20% of the
paved area did not help.)
It was good and windy! I rigged 4.7 and had a bit too much. Nice 5'
swell in the channel, decently organized. I came in to the shallow
water after a half hour and downhauled some more and it seemed about
right, but soon it was getting fluky. No big deal, my arms were
toast after just an hour of sailing anyway. It seemed to drop off
quite a bit after that.
Good to see a lot of friends after the winter! Smiles all around.
