Class 0 (or perhaps Class Q):
Wind's up, go to load car and find nail in back tire, and tire flat.
On Sunday. Spend the middle of the afternoon taking it off, finding
a garage that's open and waiting for it to get fixed.
Get on the road late, but possible, get to Coyote to find it's "off the
water at 5:30 and we don't sell season passes at the gate." :-(
I don't know how many of you have seen this, but if you haven't, you
should check it out. A one-image description of the wind in the area, at
http://sfports.wr.usgs.gov/wind/
using the couple dozen observation points, and some clever software to
fill int he grid. There's some need 24-hour and streakline animation,
too, but the static gif works for me to check the conditions with one
page.
It's the sort of thing I was hoping to do for my local reservoir near
Boise, but never had enough data (or access to server automation) to get
done.
