Whoa ! thanks for info.. reminds me of one big day we had earlier this year at
Scott's with double mast high sets closing across the entire beach, although
about 20 sailors were giving it a try that day . I counted over 10 broken mast
in the 2 hours I and many others were watching. Too big and $$$ for me...

Was that Paul Goutts, the painting guy in the white vane ?
He's got a 9'0 stretch gun and Naish sails and probably crazy enough to make
it out... :)
