Last year was good till the end, I was there in Oct and Nov and had good
sailing. I heard Dec was even good. It is true that the trades can be less
frequent and not as strong.

But if you want some wave action, it is worth the gamble.

If no wind, you can always take up surfing, kiting, Golf,snorkling
etc............

BTW. The Delta was cranking this am. 4.9/8'3" #175, until I was too tired to
sail any longer. Viva La Nina!

People say that in late fall -- winter the winds on Maui become weaker
and the waves larger. When does it happen? Untill when can you go to Maui
and still have good chance of good winds?
