Monday 8:00 PM

The Coast Guard is currently searching for a kitesurfer reported
in trouble at 5:50 pm between 3rd and Coyote. The kitesurfer was
reported to have a black and yellow kite (seen from Seal Point). When
the person who saw the kitesurfer returned from calling the Coast Guard,
the kitesurfer was no longer visible.

Two kitesurfers did land at 3rd (at least one came downwind from
Coyote), but we think they landed before the report was made and neither
had a yellow and black kite.

If you have any information about kitesurfers out today, please
call the Coast Guard ASAP at 415-399-3451.
