Today was a bad day for me :(
Arrived at Third Av. around 2:45pm. Rigged a 5.4 while people
were planing with 5.0! Went to the water from the beach, planned
10 sesonds, tacked and tried to get back. While going back I hit
a wind shadow! I finished the day in this wind shadow. I struggled
to waterstart, tried to get back outside, and ended on rocks very
far from the beach ... The current won over me!
Hopefully, a man called Jerry (thanks :)) helped me to get out
from the water.
Result: my sail is full of scratches and my board is slashed along the
edge :(
I decided to stop the carnage here and carried back board and sail
to my car. Took me about 30 minutes ...

The cherry on the cake for the day was a golf ball on
my car and a nice bump on the roof :(
Any advice about it? Who's responsible for the damage? Me for having parked
next to the golf practice or the golf club for not protecting enough
its surrounding from lost balls?

--Pascal.
