got to Davenport around 2pm to find about a dozen people already out !
Many people must have called in sick.... :-)

highway 17 has 1 lane closed for the rest of the year from 9-3 which
adds
a good 15-20 minutes :-(. On top of that they are doing resurfacing work
on highway 1. Oh well...

I rigged a 4.7 with lot of downhaul (185#) only to come back 5 minutes
later to rig my 4.2 ! I only get to use this sail about twice a year, so
it was fun to rig it. A bit light inside at times, but more than enough
for the outside. That small sail is just so much more fun for doing
tricks
in the waves... so nimble.

waves were smaller and less frequent than tuesday. Only occasional
head/logo
stuff, most of the time 4+ feet and kinda irregular. Sailed until 5
when I had to leave, but still plenty of wind left (more like 4.7 -
5.0).
Kinda crowded for this time of the year, but fun to get so much wind...

Did anyone sail 3rd with WSW winds ?
