     RE: Stuck Zipper
     Claude,
If you currently are unable to move the zipper, try WD-40. Spray it on
and let it soak for a while. I did this for about three days running
before I could get my footstrap zippers to move. After the zipper is
opperable, use a soft wax on the zipper teeth. Rub it along the
entire length of the zipper. The more often you do this the better
     the zipper will keep.

P.S. Also, great session on Friday evening at the Stick. I had to
work a little later than I wanted, but got on the water at about 6pm
and sailed until about 7:20. The wind cooperated well past that but
it was gettin a bit too dark to continue given that everyone else had
already cut out. When I arrived, I saw lots of guys sailing and
wrapping it up on 5.0M sails. I (165 lbs.) was on a 6.0M Neil Pryde
V8 and a Mistral Singer (265cm 88L). Hey, how was Crissy?

P.P.S. I rented up one of those street sailing boards from Jean Rathle
and took it to the Burning Man (earlier in September). I had such a
blast that I bought one. I have improved my jibe skills quite a bit
with it. In fact I was at Crissy on Sunday after the Angels did their
thing. Although I have not taken a header yet on the asphalt, I wear
rollerblading protection gear and bicycling gloves for my hands. I
recommend these items at the least.

     Ciao'
     David

My Airwave board bag zipper becomes stuck after a couple days without
opening it (El Nino year). The salt is corroding the metal zipper. I
have tried white vinegar without success. Any recommendations?
     Thanks.
     Claude
