i've been sailing coyote quite a bit this year and usually subtract 3 to
5 mph from cotw's report. yesterday, 15 sept, was typical. cotw was
showing 20mph. i looked at the water and rigged 6.3 and had a very dicey
slog to the channel. i had to sail up east of the big silver lollipops
to get a decent return reach. i was nicely powered but never even
slightly op'd. as i was derigging most folks were slogging in and just
making past the swiming area. i think the 3rd ave sensor is more
accurate but the coyote sensor works fine with the right (-3 to -5mph)
bias.
