This note is for a friend of mine without e-mail.
While sailing at Waddell, the Streamline tendon broke (along with the
safety retention line) and the board was separated from the rig. My
friend was not able to catch the board. Fortunately, he was able to
flag down a sailor and was towed in. His rig was also found and towed
in. Unfortunately, his board was not found. This occurred about a mile
outside, and the current was taking the board downwind. He looked along
the beach for several miles downwind, as well as at Scotts Creek and
Davenport. He was also going to contact the California State Park. The
board was a blue and white Forsythe wave board. If found please contact
