Went to bed last night with no fog on skyline
in Oakland, and extensive fog in the bay below.
At 6 am my daughter woke me up with "Dady, it's
foggy out there" and indeed it was. The fog was
moving pretty fast and our windchimes were
singing....all good signs for delta sessions - this
almost sounds like a Moe Dixon album title.

When I got to the leveee 8am I was suprised to not
see ANYONE at the powerlines nor the sign. There
were also no trailers at the powerlines. I went out
on 4.8/8'8"wave (207#) - perfect combination. The
swell got bigger as the session progressed. It got
really crowded at 10am, there were 5 others sailing ;-)

A motor boat broke down right in the middle of the ship
channel and had to be rescued by the coastguard. The dude
in the boat had a pretty concerned look as the ebb and wind
were tossing him about. All turned out ok.

When I left the wind was still blowing very solid.
