Weeds depend on water level. On Friday it wasn't a problem with a
15" blade fin, but water was very high (222+ feet on the windtalker).
The weeds would snag my legs when treading water.

The water quality is excellent, but it's damn cold especially if the
water level is high (lots of outflow).

If you're camping in a tent bring earplugs. It's not a particularly
pleasant experience, the wind blows all night.

The morning winds don't seem to last much after 10am, unless it blows
all day (pretty rare).
