I have sailed Crissy the last 4 days on winds with some southerly. For the
most past it has been light at the beach and cranking in the middle. I've
saile my 5.2 and 95 liter Saxo every day (175#). It has been blowing until
very late. On Saturday and Sunday the wind was well off the beach and built
from 6.0 a hundred yards past Anita to 4.0 about 2/3 of the way out. Yesterday
thge wind moved in close to the beach with overpowered conditions just outside
Anita and the wind dying about 1/3 of the way across. The ramps on the weekend
were outrageous. The last couple days have been running more toward knee
crushing voodoo chop. It must have been windy because I would swear I saw
Justin sailing on a non race sail.
