Sat: Sailed Crissy from 3:30 to 5:00 on a 4.7 and 5.3 and 8'9 Enduro.
Crissy is sometimes not very good on Northwest winds. This was one of
those frustrating up and down days.

Sun: Sailed a very short session at Scott's creek at about 4:00 on a
5.7 and 8'9 Enduro. The wind was very light. Once I got out past the
waves, I was the only sailor out. I shlogged around for a while and
managed to catch one great down the line right that took me to the
center of the beach. I never got rinsed in the surf, yet I nearly got
killed in the VERY steep beach at the center of scotts. I almost
sailed up the sand, and then the water sucked back hard. Luckily, I
didn't break anything.

Does anybody have any recommendations on escaping from the sea when
the beach is really steep?
