We went to Maui at the end of last May and were, for all intents and purposes,
skunked. In 16 days, we had 1 4.0 day in Kanaha, and maybe 8 6.5 days in Kihei.
I weigh about 160. Kihei had great slalom conditions, but I could have stayed
home for that. The guys at the local shops were already attributing the
unusually poor winds to El Nino for what that is worth.
