This happend to me this last year--they really do go fast, and its not a
very large vessel. They slowed and followed me half-way across the river. I
thought I was going to get some sort of citation.

I'd like to know how long they last. I has some Windsurfing Hawaii gloves
with the palm cut out--they worked well, but the stitching broke apart after
less than one winter--and I don't brave the cold that often.
