Content-Type: text/plain Date: Fri, 26 Sep 1997 09:53:06 PDT
Now that the winds are becomming lighter, I am looking at ways to extend
my season. I am looking to pick up a light wind board for sailing at
Crissy. So any suggestions and leads on used gear would be appreciated.
My stats. 175 lbs. / largest sail 6.8M VXLTD race. I am an adv. Int.
I have been told about a few different boards such as Mikes labs because
of their light weight and quick planning - although very fragile. Also
suggested are the F2 Sputnik and Xantos. Sizes suggested are 110+
liters and 280+cm.
Also, I have been watching those street sailing skateboards. Looks like
fun and may be a good way to practice tricks & jibes. Kind of pricy
though $325-$425 so I am looking for feedback on them. Any leads on a
used street sailing board would be appreciated.
Thanks,
David
