I picked up a very used Fiberspar fiberglass/epoxy mast.
Unfortunately, tiny bits of fiberglass are flaking off the mast in a
major way, and getting all over the place, including under my skin.
Is this just one of the joys of the sport, or is there something I can
do to seal the mast? E.g. spray sealant, clearkote, you name it. I'd
rather avoid duct tape which was my first thought.
Thanks for your advice,
