There are many that theorize that the Access blows better for dawn patrol, and
that powerlines blows better for sunset patrol due to small changes in wind
direction.

I haven't spent enough time driving between the two to comment on the validity
of this since I usually just go to powerlines because I am lazy. I do know
that powerlines never seems to shut off due to it getting late.

Thanks.

I sailed Sherman yesterday and found big differences between the wind at
power lines and down at the access. Does anyone know where the pager
meter is located? Where is the (916) 777-xxxx meter at? At about 7:00
the wind just died and as we were leaving the access and driving toward
power lines it looked like it was blowing 5.5 and guys were out sailing,
I couldn't believe it.
