Getting a smaller board should help a lot. I didn't learn how to jibe until
I got a board shorter than 9'. One tip that many have success with is to
get as much speed as possible by bearing off the wind. By bearing off you
reduce the angle that you need to turn. Many people make the mistake by
starting their jibe from the pointing upwind position.
I have heard many good things about ABK clinics. If you have been at the
same level for some time it is probably time for a lesson.
